Reminder: Alex Acosta was asked during Trump's first term why it had taken so long to arrest Epstein if it was known for many decades that he was involved in blackmail and trafficking, to which Acosta answered that nobody could greenlight any action against Epstein all the way up the chain of command because Epstein was foreign intelligence it was above their paygrade. What changed was the presidency in 2016, and the WH no longer protecting him thus Trump would have greenlit any action against Epstein.
Trump is currently repeating what his DOJ is telling him which earns him plausible deniability. Trump knows everything about Epstein but is feigning ignorance to the details in order to remove from play the Epstein card which Israel knows that he holds—but only in the eyes of Israel.
Consider the timing: not long after Elon accuses Trump of being on the list, Trump, a person who cares a lot about what the public thinks of him, starts going the extra mile to convince everybody that he is with unabashedly with Israel, bombing Iran and intentionally covering up Epstein in the most suspiciously overt way possible, theatrics and resignation threats in the DOJ and FBI over Epstein. Seems coordinated and intentional, no?

Most people are not aware of the fact that Epstein and Trump already went to war with each other in the early 2000s after a dispute over the auction of a mansion that which Epstein had told his rich friends, including Trump, to avoid because he was intending on flipping the mansion for profit. Trump entered in the last minutes and outbid Epstein, flipping the mansion himself. Epstein threatened to expose Trump as a financial fraud over this. He was eventually sentenced to 18 months and put on the registry.
