Indeed! Coffee is meant to be consumed as is without any additions. At most you can top it off with some milk expresso style. Anything beyond that should be considered a war crime. Sugar is a no-go with zilch exceptions and if you are finding the necessity to add some then you are probably drinking the instant variety which is not real coffee in the first place.
