Amanita muscaria contains muscimol but it isn't as potent a psychedelic as psilocybin. There are some members of the Amanita genus that will destroy your liver and kill you dead like Amanita phalloides. Psilocybe is still the genus of choice for mushroom induced religious euphoria.
