even if I were to ignore that it's Marvel that we're talking about here, Marvel has been eyeballing the FGC since the Infinite days and have tried to make an "esports" venture work without games to show for it until Rivals happened so I am not at all surprised here that Marvel would have two competitive fighters in the spotlight. They have an opportunity to put all of these games into one event tour like Bamco did with DBZ and maybe put pot bonuses at existing tournaments.
