I don't care to argue one side or another since there is zero evidence. My point was that IF this was a planned kill then it was one of the slickest "accidents" that I've ever read about because of all the useful coincidences. Maybe we'll find out in 20-30 years if Israel doesn't drag the world into nuclear Armageddon before that.

Eloquent summation of the point I was trying to make. It was a powerful lesson, at least for me. If someone wants real change then they either have to buy it or to fight for it because it's very unlikely to come from the ballot box.
Even with stuff like Vietnam protests or Civil Rights protests - in the end they only worked because a confluence of events largely independent from the marches and that happened behind the scenes made it easier for the Fed (deep state, or whatever term) to agree to demands than not.
