because i dont enjoy 30 hours of grinding away details
i capture my pose and idea within the first few hours and frankly it's all i cared to do in the first pllace
the entire reason i started drawing was to enjoy it, why bother doing it if i'm gonna force myself to grind 16 hours a day and grow to hate and resent it? why not just go back to stacking shelves at that point? at least then there's no chance of failure, just stack shelves on autopilot
small sketch, light airy colors, some texture, and i'm happy, and so are my clients...
sure I can refine my understanding of leg or back muscles or maybe do some ghibli background studies, and maybe my hand drawings suck too, oh well
... i'll work on that when i feel like it...
and i don't feel it, so i won't work on it today
i prioritize fun, because thats why i draw
i also really do not recommend being on this board, it's very... draining? unrealistic expectations? lots of know-better-than-you attitude, lots of text, very many labels, and it seems to be a bad place to be, it's why i left for so many years and didnt give it another look
for all the hundreds of people on this place, how many come out enjoying what they do and not hating themselves?
you won't learn anything being here, get friends and get some youtube tutorials and good reference, it's all anyone needs
