Yellow guy did point me into some direction in the shaded citadel but it was down some complexity dark area.
And while I doubt this game will let me craft a flashlight or unlock night vision i.e. whenever I do decide going down that path my equipment won't be any different from what it is now, I still think there's enough other places to explore for now.
So I doubled back to the industrial complex in hopes of maybe finding some other place that looks like progress
