I'd like to ask you about opinions about this duo and their relationship. In hindsight the show feels not satisfactory, as this duo with biggest, longest friendship potential could not feature a solid episode or two exploiting their relationship alone. Also that weird IDW issue with Twilight furious berating on hatchling.
The latest season tried to establish but it felt too little too late. "Sparkle Seven" squeezing some details about Spike's upbringing was not enough, then "Once Upon a Zeppelin" episode felt like writers just explicitly decided to go "nahh" with him.
Finally countless arts / fics which has every interpretations / head canons to them.
