Doll owner here, I try my best to stay updated on sex tech news like this. If I were to throw a random educated guess, I'd say we'll start to see commercialized walking dolls around the 2030s; talking, probably earlier like 2028-2030. It technically already exists and I don't imagine it takes much to pair a mouth to an AI. But as far as walking goes, it'll definitely take a bit if you want them to walk around the house on their own, let alone cleaning n shit.
Quite frankly, I'm more interested in the finer details like skin texture and realism. Even the highest-end dolls still feel like plastic at the end of the day, no matter how fine the pore textures and baby hair follicles come to be. They only just begun to replicate the firmness human muscle under soft skin.
I hope the industry has a breakthrough with some brand new silicone blend or an entirely-different and even better material altogether, but that's wishful thinking. Basically, I'm going to be in bed and snuggling with my doll more often than having her walk around, and I'd rather have my senses catered to.
