govt. owned grocery stores are fucking stupid when groceries are already really fucking cheap in nyc proportional to earning ability, i pay the same as most flyover residents while having more disposable income. nyc only really fucks you if you want to have kids (childcare is $$$) or own a house ($5-700k a hour away for a house)

the other problem is that we geographically cannot build anymore + sewer capacity is already maxed out in some places

the better idea would be funding more transit north/south in queens/brooklyn + funding commuter rail and make it easier to reach the suburbs into nyc

im already fucked because he's the official /r/fuckcars candidate and my commute is either 30-45 mins by car or 90-120 mins by bus
