Fish were a plentiful source of food, Cattleya getting nearly half a bucket of them in such a short amount of time being proof. Clouds could be wrung for water, harvesting the fog through a few methods or by simply waiting to collect rain. The places to sleep in here were, though not entirely comfortable, still a livable environment that could hold a couple of people. There were even a few books left behind, which could made used for entertainment. Most of the books left behind were written in Common, but a few were in a language that seemed almost Scandinavian. It reminded you a bit of fantasy Norse found in certain media. All of this must've meant that Northrensjor had some sort of literary scene.
Some of these things tempted you to comprehensively renovate or change the structure. You lacked most of your materials, however, with the necessary ones back in Heaven's Landing. Not to mention the construction clankers back there could potentially turn this tower into a lighthouse, or anything you desired, with relative ease.
While you weren't one for feeling homesick, you were starting to miss your estate.

While most looked outside at the undeniably beautiful view, Ruby Rose was cautiously looking at the dangerous wand you had got from the Drag On Gang.
"Any luck?" You said as you approached.
"Mel said that the Academy of Centria had a means to discover where this troubling item came from." Your Mastermind said. "I must say, I can appreciate the sheer ruthlessness behind those that would be bold enough to move forwards with such enacting a plan such as this."
"What about you?" You asked again. "Where you able to find anything of note about the wand?"
"No, unfortunately I have not." Despite this Ruby continued to have a smug smile tugging her lips in . "On that matter, I wish to suggest that you leave this matter to your most lovely and intelligent wives. Of course, that is not to say giving it to the Academy has no merit, considering it has some physical similarities-"
"Yeah! You can trust us, Master!" Herta interrupted while barging into the room. "As the Goddess of Artifice, my knowledge of these things is unmatched!" She said haughtily. "Just to confirm, we're talking about the exploding wand. Right?" Ruby Rose frowned.
"Hey, Herta," You changed the topic. "What do you know about mana mutation?"
"Huh?" Herta blinked. "Oh, that stuff. It's complicated to say, but it basically amounts to being a symptom of mental corruption. Why do you ask?"
