Strategy-FPS like the Strike Force missions from Black Ops 2 where it works as an RTS but you can control individual units should you please. Play as aliens escaping from a Wey-Yu facility with a limited number of units that you can increase by freeing others from containment. You could also introduce eggs and facehuggers but that might take away from the action too much.
The ultimate objective is to take dominance of the facility to such an extent that your aliens can out, with a focus on territorial control. Multiple paths out of the facility can be opened or blocked, and missions require attacking and defending your captured territory. You lose all your aliens, it’s game over.
Have a fun little achievement for keeping the alien you started with alive to the end.
