Yeah, it doesn't look like a PS1 game in the best way possible. The cutscenes do look kino, and from what I've seen on the gameplay vids, it has a really neat sound design - all those hits and shit are really satisfying. 3D environment, which also doesn't look like shit, and the movement seems smooth and responsive - in Parasite Eve it was kinda stiff and speed mismatched sometimes.
I picked PE as my gateway RPG, because I generally prefer modern-ish vibes over medieval stuff with swords and spells, but VS goes to my backlog. Won't play it right now tho, 'cause I'm a bit burned out from 77 floors of Chrysler Building. Need something entirely different for now.
