The mixed Aryan/Med half breeds became the lower class. That is part of the terms and conditions of Aryans imposing their culture on the conquered. The pureblood bloodlines made themselves the patriarchs, while the mixed were made to tend to the fields.
The politicians and other influential Romans essentially, were all fully Aryan people as for millenia they made sure to not mix with the plebeians. This is evident for example from the Romans own records about the hair and eye colors of their emperors, almost every one of them was blonde and/or blue eyed.
These colored busts of Roman emperors are based on the texts Romans described their appearance in. Only a few of them had brown eyes, which was the trait of native Mediterranean Neolithic farmers.
