God I feel retarded. So many loose ends and incomprehensible narrative shifts. I read the wiki after I finished cuz I assumed I missed something but no, I followed everything that was happening literally I just couldn't understand the intent or the reasoning. Worth reading once ig but oof not gonna return again. I got like 2 more Faulkner's on my shelf so I'll at least give him another shot but he's on thin ice
