That's all Wokeism is - Communism applied to race/gender/sexuality/etc. It dates back to the 1930s when Antonio Gramsci, the most influential leftist philosopher of the 20th century, suggested that class-based Communism failed in its revolutionary putsch since people were too comfy enjoying the fruits of Capitalism so the Communists would have to subvert their entertainment.
