NTA but in general if you invite someone out to eat you should pay for it. That's just manners and if you can't afford it then you shouldn't be inviting them to eat but to do something free instead.
This is especially true in a business setting if anyone ever invites you out to talk business over a meal and doesn't pay for it then that's a massive red flag.
