My closest friendships were made through a mutual appreciation for anime.
I started working out and doing martial arts because of anime.
I joined the Navy so I could go to Japan for free (Never did).
In college, I minored in Japanese so I could translate manga scans.
I also was extremely cringe in my teenage years by being a weeb, but I think that had more to do with being a teenager than anything else.
I think I'm perfectly balanced between being socially acceptable and a true degenerate.
