12. I put off meeting Maki until tonight. This was my second time. I didn't spill my spaghetti as hard as I did in Vegas. Earlier this year I bought a set of the claw machine merch they did for for the top stars off Y! Japan (pic related) and brought the red border bromide with me to have her sign in addition to the cowboy portrait. She was genuinely surprised that I had it and wondered if I had got it in Japan. I explained how I check Yahoo Auctions frequently and buy up any cool merch of hers that pops up. I also showed her the keychain I made out of her Micro Brawler. She seemed more impressed than creeped out (at least that's the headcanon I'm going with), so that's a win I guess. She put her arm around me for the picture. I wished her good luck in Dallas and told her that I'll be cheering her on from the front row. I also wished her good luck with El Desperado and wished her a happy early birthday. I can die a happy man.
