I thought 28 Days Later was WAY better than the new one. It didn't quite land with me. Too much that they tried to cram into the movie. They also left a lot unanswered. I know that they plan on doing a trilogy with this, but most of the questions I have probably won't be answered.
MINOR SPOILER AHEAD
Some of my biggest gripes of the film were the Alpha zombies, the pregnant zombie, and Erik. Erik didn't do much - he was really just a historical reference to the vikings. Alpha zombies don't make sense to me with the nature of the Rage virus. The pregnant zombie was just bewildering....
What did you think about the ending?
