Like you are the last person I expected to end up with an accidental kid to begin with, and those specific circumstances are NOT what I would have expected even if you were to have one.” Lime finally lets out. “And Cocoa, you’re a hell of a trooper to even try to keep up with all that. Not everyone would be handling this as well as you are.”
“It’s almost like a fairy tale…” Coco comments. “A magic daughter, and demons and monsters and people from other realms, wooow…”
“...So, are the two of you like… actually going to go through with this as a ‘family’ and whatnot?” Lime finally asks, rubbing the side of her head.
Hoo boy. Hell of a question there. “Well. I need to catch the little hellion first. Or at the very least get her in a position where we can talk things out with her a bit.” you reply. “That way we can have her come to the wedding.”
Cocoa smiles bashfully at that, blushing and nodding. “Yeah. I… do want to be there for her as a parent as well, she’s OUR daughter, even if how she came to be was not exactly something anyone could have planned for. But her understanding that comes first.”
Coco smiles sweetly at the two of you, adding, “I hope that happens soon then.”
Lime crosses her arms, smiling a little. “You two really are thinking of it, huh?”
“I mean… not in the near term, of course.” you reply.
“Y-yeah, there’s still quite some time before we’ll really be at a point like that.” Cocoa adds, rubbing the back of her neck. She does however place her hand on top of yours and gives you an affectionate look. “Whatever is ahead though, I wanna be there with you, Peppa, however I can be. I want to face what’s to come together with you.” She then leans against you, smiling happily.
You lean against her as well. “Together.” you affirm. There may be tough times ahead, but you will not be facing them alone. You will have your friends, your family, your comrades and rivals... and especially, your Cocoa.
