Last couple of weeks have been a blur, for sure. There have been no less than three motherfucking fires around town recently. I remember thinking people were blowing up too many fireworks when I saw ashes everywhere. Turns out they were falling from the sky from a gigantic brush fire in a park miles and miles away. Days later I saw a different one from a distance while driving from the hardware store, gigantic smoke clouds on the horizon. I only know of the third because I found it in a news article while searching for the second. Shit's fucked, bro. Then there was the whole thing with dad, who thankfully is now much better. There are other problems but they escape me.

On the plus side, 4th of July was alright. No one had any time to actually buy fireworks because of lots of shit happening, so invited some family to an empty area near my house so we can watch the various shows that happen nearby. Got coolers for drinks, fire for smores, it was a nice evening. Put fresh batteries in my digimon and tamagotchis after a few months of break. Bought nice new clothes and wallet. Overall, life just happens.
