A confession is voluntarily and acknowledged by the person confessing to be an accurate depiction of events.
If your hypothetical drug user did not explicitly say "this is a true story and is an accurate depiction of the events as they happened" it would not be a confession!
EVEN THEN, it would be his statement that "it all went down exactly like the comic" that would be the confession...
not the COMIC ITSELF!
