It's not a dramatic story.
>Raise dog mostly on my own and he's now 5 and doing well
>Mom doesn't know that you're not supposed to feed dogs bones
>Gives the dog some bones while she's watching him
>I'm guessing that the bones splintered and then pierced his digestive tract
>Find my dog violently vomiting and shitting while shivering later on in the day
>Take him to emergency vet services
>Doesn't pull through and he's gone

Tried to reassure my mom that I didn't resent her for what happened, but she was a wreck after that. I was just kind of emotionally dead for a while since that was the first time I lost something significant to me, so I didn't have the energy to hate either. Happened like 10 years ago and honestly I'm still not really over it and haven't had another pet since, I'll probably get another dog one of these days. I don't have a picture of him on my computer to post, but he was a Yorkie that looked like pic.
