dont be an always online person. try and get a career. Things are guaranteed to have some downsides when you get older but if you work in your 20s for a good foundation it can carry you through your 30s-40s.

Once you lose your youth then hedonism doesnt do it for you anymore and you will need to find meaning in your life. Meaning from either family, or some sort of job that changes the world, or some other sense of charity. People turn to nihihlism as a form of cope / giving up when they fail to make life worth living, they are spiritual drug addicts even if they havent taken on a drug habit yet.
