S1: Interesting concept, good pacing, strong visual tone and cinematography.
S2 (part 1): Slightly shaky but I liked the Portal 1 plot direction where the players attempt to overthrow the masters
S2 (part 2): Boat plotline timewasting reaching unacceptable levels, rebellion fails and series is now just a retread of S1, comedy music, k-drama and timing that doesn't fit in the slightest, sudden onslaught of ultra low quality CGI thats not even remotely obscured from view or necessary, english speaking actors are so bad it comes across as sabotage.
Idk what happened, my expectations were low but S3 came across to me like they got an inexperienced director to take over and cut the budget in half.
>people are saying its an intentional snub because the anti-capitalist message has ironically become an avatar for capitalism
I'm sure Dong-hyuk is absolutely devastated by the hundreds of millions of dollars and deals flowing into his bank account.
