never heard of it either and i'm in the US
my bank has never pushed anything on me one way or the other
most people here under 70 choose not to use debit cards because:
>lose debit card (or it's stolen)
>money gone
>lose credit card (or it's stolen)
>CC company just cancels all transactions
I actually make a little money using my CC. I earn points just by buying things with it that balances out to put me in the black. It costs less for me to use a CC than cash.
I'm never "in debt" any more than I am for any other monthly bill like water or electricity. I pay my bill and that's it.

only mimic tear is
everything else is varying degrees of fair
typically I'd only use them when it was a boss with more than one enemy in it though
if it was a fair duel then I'd commit
if there's like 4 fucking enemies I'm summoning Floh

Started long before gamergate, gamergate was just the tipping point when people realised that the people who had any sway in the industry wasnt gamers like themselves anymore, they were opportunistic career people who jumped on a hot bandwagon to serve themselves and sharholders.
