IF the vtuber was being genuine about being single, assuming they aren't lying about who they are, there may be a route to an actual relationship(if that's your game) but keep in mind what sort of game you are entering. A giant pool of people all into the same person. You're essentially entering into a giant contest of "The Bachelor/Bachelorette." Then when one person eventually wins the streamer is stuck with:
1. continue to be honest and lose the portion of their audience that was chasing that.
2. lose their integrity and start leading people on
Therefore, making their streaming career open to picking up relationships from the audience becomes another trap for their long term longevity as an honest streamer if a long term streaming career was their goal.

Better to be open and keep the audience at a distance in my opinion. Well unless your cool with lying for money I guess.

I bet the pressure in a corporate environmentmaybe phase connect?? :) to lie is pretty heavy or even encouraged. It's too bad. Must be tough for the ones with an actual heart for their viewers.

The more I think about it, appealing to lonely males/females, as a streamer, is a giant double edged sword that ends up coming back around eventually in some way. Becomes volatile; they become too attached
