I sure hope. That's one of the bigger killing blows to Mortal Kombat. I did not buy MK1 for a NUMBER of reasons, and that was a significant one. I do not want rotating stores in my fighting game. I don't want to have to literally play for 4 years to get all of the skins I want or have to deal with them just being gone forever because the game isn't in it's support phase. I don't want it to have features that aren't it's multiplayer locked behind an internet connection. Ideally I wouldn't even have DLC's, not how they are in modern fighting games certainly. Let me unlock things by playing the game, like you could in every MK prior to 2011.
The whole DLC release cycle thing in MK I came to dislike quite a bit. Once they made that a business model that they just fell back on it felt less and less about being a game.
