I'm at episode 6 of season 1 and my current impression of the show is great premise, good actors, mediocre to bad writing.
The soccer girls act as if being stranded in the wilderness is a mere inconvenience, there's so sense of dread. They write these dumb cop-outs like 'oh yeah the guy that lived here was an avid hunter, so we have INFINITE bullets and this will never be mentioned again'. There's also a scene where they decide to have a dancing routine in the cabin? Because why preserve energy in an emergency situation, right. They also never mention soccer ever again, a sports they supposedly spent a large chunk of their lives on.
And then there's the back and forth between past and present, which I get what they were going for, bit all it does is pull me out of the story and the present timeline is just boring to watch really unless it involves Misty.
