HOWEVER, learning art fundamentals also "locks" you in terms of how you see art. once you learn how an arm is drawn correctly via a process of fundamentals, that is always how youll see and do it. if you try to draw an arm badly afterwards, you will always have to contrast it with your knowledge and consciously subvert it.
