That's not actually true. Red Lobster is owned by a billion dollar Thai shrimp exporter that could give away million of pounds of shrimp for next to nothing. What bankrupted Red Lobster was a Wall Street vulture capitalist fund that bought the land under the restaurants promising it would not raise the rents. A few years later that VC sold the land to another vulture capitalist firm that DOUBLED the rents.
