The Prequels have stupid plots and shit acting but they have actually interesting action and visuals. The Darth Maul fight, the Jango Fett fights, the underwater Gungan city, the lava planet, Naboo, etc. are all much richer and more interesting than the Sequels' OT-rehash universe.

Additionally it's not like the Sequels have interesting characters or good acting either:
>Rey is dull as dishwater and Daisy Ridley gives a shitty performance
>Finn goes nowhere
>Poe is okay I guess
>Han/Harrison Ford is in fine form as always, but is only in one film
>Mark Hamill is flat and monotone, delivering all his lines in an emotionless croak
>Carrie Fisher phones it in
>Holdo is just a Leia-ripoff and Laura Dern sleepwalks through the role
>Adam Driver looks like he's about to cry in every scene
>Snoke is literally just Sheev again

The Prequels had a pretty dull cast too (Whineakin Skypolar and a bunch of overly-formal monks and politicians), but at least a few of them were cool like Maul, Jango Fett, and Mace Windu.
