yes, that's a fucking terrible plan. Starving yourself literally catabolizes any little muscle you do have and it'll make you feel horrible. Getting up will be difficult, you'll have no energy to do anything. Trust me, I tried that shit with a 1200 calorie diet and I was fucking miserable and looked like shit by the end of it.

The reason you look bad as a skinnyfat is because your bodyfat percentage is high while your musculature is near zero, both sides in the wrong direction. My recommendation is to do a normal 500 calorie deficit with a high-protein intake (roughly as many grams as protein as around 75% of your weight). Since you're a total beginner, you can gain basic muscle while losing weight. It will cap out quickly, within 6 months, but it's better than bulking and getting chubby with nearly identical strength gains. At that point you can switch to a bulk and continue to improve.
