Yes and no, actually. The Beyonders were actually created by the Celestials to basically be multiversal janitors while they were busy fiddling with things. The issue is that they actively went out of thier way to make the Beyonders powerful enough to actually destroy everything, including thier Celestial creators, as a sort of failsafe in case any Celestials went batshit nuts or something. They didnt account for the Beyonders just one day deciding "Hey, let's kill off everything there is, quite literally every last universe wiped off the map, juuuuuuuuust to see what would happen", which is what led to 2015's Secret Wars with God Doom and Dad Reed (that the next big finale Avengers movie is gonna adapt, apparently)
