Also wanted to add that other artists have been known to do this. Here's something by another account (khyleri) that's infamous for baiting engagement through heavy referencing, sex appeal, and implied controversy especially through smaller details in the image. The way these accounts do this feels off like they're highly calculated attempts at metagaming social media engagement.
My initial impulse is annoyance at these accounts but in hindsight stuff like this is rewarded and prioritized by most social media platforms. I guess they're doing what they can to make a buck but man why does everything have to feel so fucking hollow online these days?
