This shit was relevant at the start of the series though since every character grew stronger during throughout their journey even before the timeskip.
Granted none of these idiots knew about Haki, but Oda could have at least shown us these when Rayleigh was explaining haki. Since Rayleigh was mostly using advance stuff anyways. Like ACOA here
