There's nothing that really supports that. It's not that he resents him for being talentless, it's that he thinks he should, and doesn't. Komaeda having to deal with his beliefs being challenged is one of the reasons why this ship is interesting.

Again, I don't actually think it's his reason at all. I only brought it up as rebuttal to that specific argument.
I mean, Komaeda goes out of the way to tell Hinata that he still cares about him even after finding out he's part of the Remnants, a group that's against everything he stands for. The contrast this has with Souda turning against Hinata for a somewhat whimsical reason shows the difference in the strength of their feelings.
Don't get me wrong though, I like Souda.
