yay, i fixed it, and i only had to modify half all the script files in pixelorama to change the init, deinit, and notification functions to stop the hanging and crashing, great. now to never touch it ever again until I have completely forgotten how any of what i changed actually works. down in the memory hole it goes, where it belongs.
