I grew up in a self imposed Nintendo bubble. It wasn't something I really thought about. The Super Nintendo was "litty", and my options were the "new Sega console I forgot what it's called again" and "the new console from the creators of Walkman™" so the choice of N64 is obvious.

Of course you know I'm rollling into the Gamecube afterwards because I enjoyed it the last two times. I always had great things to play and never felt like I ran out of games.

I was Nintendo only until Resident Evil Outbreak came out on PS2.

I had played Resident Evil Remake and 2 on the Gamecube and the concept of doing that but online with people blew my little dick off so fucking hard it was well worth the entirety of my first paycheck (console + game + hard drive + keyboard + extra long ethernet cable) to the chagrin of my parents.

And then you know "owning a PS2" allowed me to go back to PS1 and games were really cheap at this time so that plus a job allowed me to get a wider view of the gaming industry.
