I'm in eastern EU. Every fucktard with a low-wage job drives an early 2000s Golf TDI and technical roadworthiness certificates are usually obtained without measuring exhaust gasses. I fucking hate this aspect of living here and I tend to wear a Covid mask even today, because I noticed since the pandemic that I get sick WAY less often if I wear masks in busy areas.
The air is basically cancer here at rush hour in busy areas, mostly because of these shitty diesels that should be in Germany's scrapyards, not on our roads.
