Like I said, we could run into some privateers, hell there might still be pirates bold or desperate out there to try and attack us. Some ground troops might be needed, either to prevent borders, or if you need an immediate pick up. Oh, I know I am not one to remind you about such matters, but whatever we take is not going to be defending the colony, so, uh, up to you.”

“Now that’s a good question.” You remark solemnly, looking over the map in your possession, it is old and out of date, but the major factions have not disappeared, so it will serve your purpose well, for now.
“From what little information we have.” Once more Ashwin offers his wisdom. “The current diplomatic situation is a precarious one. I doubt by this point any one faction will just outright shoot without at least hearing us out to begin with. What happens afterwards, I make no guarantees. They could also try to bring us under their sphere of influence, for better, or for ill.”
“I guess we’ll see when we get there.” You murmur.
“We shall indeed.” With a chuckle Ashwin responds.
