Something I think bongs take for granted, or perhaps don't even realise, but you have really nice front doors (inb4 autism), even in a lot of the older and poorer terrace houses you will find beautiful doors, wonderful ledlite glasswork, fixtures and fittings. That's something that newer houses definitely lack. If you've never really thought about it, take a moment to look around and appreciate it the next time you're walking down the street.
Superb craftsmanship, so much so that it is not uncommon, and was in fact quite common early on for people to export or bring with them a lot of that to Aus to use in their houses here, and even today they're almost treated like family heirlooms as much as furniture and other lovingly hand crafted things from back in the UK.
