Ive heard this floating around and tbph I have not read enough about it to speak on it. But it must be an interesting frame of reference, as many consider our society so under-social because everyone is trying to connect through the web.
So Im totally ignorant of the theory and its suggestion is confusing for me to reconcile. Obviously I was alive quite before the internet, and the world sure felt and behave a lot more socially then. But its also worth noting that while television culture united people, it also introduced, slowly but surely, that gradual decay of tradition.
