So my theory is that the US is scared Iran might escalate things in the region and drag them into a full-blown war. The US can’t just print money like before to fund endless wars, so this attack feels like a desperate move to intimidate Iran. At this point, all Iran has to do is drop something even more destructive on Israel and the whole thing blows up.
