I cannot figure out humor. Color, sound, light, time, space. EZ.
What in the name of abstract fuck is "humor" actually doing? What bodily function does this process serve? What data is this vector carrying?
I get it handles obscure weird coincidences, but what is it actually doing? What mechanical biological process is mathematically being measured and ratiod?
Anger = fight or flight reaction, innate, base, instinctual. Run/Fight rapid response without thinking. Survival process.
Happy = reproductive/energy food reward process system. I get that.
But just what the fuck does humor actually reward? Studying crazy patterns of laughs and sounds of farts and shit? People dying and they end up in the Peter Griffin pose so a weird sound vocalization erupts spontaneously? That makes no sense and feels like just pulling stacked coincidence patterns from the void? Error response in attempting to compare ratios in a pattern that is too complex, so a strange laugh emanates?
What internal Pavlov bell is humor ringing?
When I bang the bell and pour out food, what the fuck satiation is my mind being quenched by with humor?
Surely the complexity of it compounds rapidly as humor is complex memes within memes, to understand humor requires many perspectives, putting yourselves into many may other peoples shoes and walking their miles to "Get it" and relate.
To build that persons universe in our mind.
To build an entire universe of people in our mind, make ratio comparisons to their positions and situations in relation to our own, and relating to them....all.
