This fag has never seen Ralph Bakshi's "Wizards". You can have literal droid manufacturing plants and laser guns and still be fantasy. Its about presentation and theming. In fact, thats literally the difference. Final Fantasy has always had sci-fi. But even in the most modern themed games they keep it fantastical. Wanting beanies and sweat pants for your WoL isnt a crime, but people have every right to complain about low effort aesthetics being shoveled into the game on the back of the worst expansion the game has had to date.
