I think specifically Nyan leaving did catastrophic damage that could never be repaired. Back then Mouse was still very willing to tie her branding to Nyan and some of the other VShojo girls so the brand actually had some unity at the highest levels. When Nyan left is absolutely broke something in Mouse, and now whether it's in stream backgrounds, music videos, lore videos, etc. The other VShojo members are just background characters now. Often times Connor, Vchiban, or her current popular flesh friends appear more prominently than other VShojo members. The original three leavers but especially Nyan, made Mouse see weakness in the brand and now she'll never fully commit to it again.
