We are going to be sucking the earth dry and turning it into a barren wasteland at a rate about x50 faster than we would have if we implemented proper population control mechanisms and kept things sustainable long term, which buys US less time to survive and figure things out technologically. It is planet wide self suicide.
The sheer loss of animal biodiversity and the volume of ocean plastics waste and rubbish being buried in landfills will be astronomical, extinctions will happen, the atmosphere will be polluted and land will be destroyed all in order to support countries full of billions of “people” that all look exactly the same who only exist to reproduce as much as humanly possible
