YUGE Point here: so what was Yukio's deal? So, yeah, Rock, Revy, and Gin stopped the gangster chumps from raping her or whatever. But, he didn't save her really because she's still got the destiny of leading the Washimine Clan? And then she commits suicide in the most Edgy McEdgyface way. You want Edgy? Should've fucking thrown yourself into a pool with ravenous tiger sharks.

I'm oversimplifying this so I don't have to type so much but someone explaining all of this post and this part of the series would be really clarifying. I TOTALLY didn't get anything in picrel's scene. It was just more Seinen shit:
>Protag does something that would be considered heroic/virtuous in the traditional Shounen playbook for the purposes of saving someone or some other goal
>Person cross analyzes Protag and their "real" values or goals or something
>Protag denies this at first
>Person continues to break down Protag
>Protag has a mental breakdown basically and is lost in his "values"
>Person leaves saying "I hate you." leaving Protag mentally distraught

Does this sound familiar? Only other Seinen I've watched Re:Zero, I'm looking at you.
